Setting application sharing

To limit the number of users who can simultaneously access an application:
1 Open Mac OS Server Admin and log on to the server you want to administer.
2 Press the Privileges button and choose Set Privileges.
3 Locate the application program, then click Choose.
4 Enter the number of users who can use this program at the same time in the box labeled "Allow up to __ users at a time."
Users who try to open the program when the maximum has been reached see a message to try again later.

If you don't see the option to allow multiple users, or if users can't open the application:
Some applications cannot be used by more than one user at the same time. Contact your software vendor for information about compatibility with this option. (You should also check your license to see how many users are allowed at one time.)
